Okay, we all know there is a sell-by date on the egg carton...but if you're like me, you still may find this helpful to know. How do you know if your eggs are still good (even past the sell-by date)?
Put egg in a bowl of water. Make sure water covers egg completely. If the egg stays on the bottom of the bowl, then it is still good. If the egg floats, it has gone bad. If it tilts to the side...that is your call (but I'd toss it.)
Welcome to The Helpful Home! We are all extremely busy...with family, kids, or just finding time for ourselves. I hope you will find easy recipes, organizational tips, and helpful hints to make your home life simpler...giving you more time to spend with the ones you love.
