Slow Cooker Easy Beef Stew Recipe

I like this recipe because it involves very little prep, many of the ingredients you probably have in your kitchen, and its quick, simple, and tasty.  Leave and it!!  I will post a picture soon, but every time I make this stew, my family eats it too quickly to get a photo!

Slow-Cooker Easy Beef Stew

3-4 lbs Stew cut beef, seasoned well with salt and pepper
1          Onion, quartered
3          Large Carrots, cut in half
3          Large Potatoes, cut in thirds
3          Celery stalks, cut in half
1          Onion soup packet*
1 can   Mushroom soup*
1/4 c.  Milk*
½ can  Beef broth (may substitute chicken broth)

After seasoning beef, lightly toss in flour.
Add onion, meat and vegetables to the slow-cooker. 
Combine soup packet and can of mushroom soup.  Add to pot.
Cook on high for 5-5.5 hours or low for 8 hours.

*Other variations:
Variation A:
1 can tomato paste
1 can brown sugar (use the tomato paste can)
1 can shoyu (soy sauce)
½ can beef broth

Variation B:
1 packet aus jus seasoning
1 packet Good Seasoning salad dressing
1 can Beef Broth
